The project aim was to increase public awareness on the rights of children in Kampala. The target groups were, Policy
Makers, Local leaders, Local Community, Children, teachers, civic and religions leaders and Parents.

The need to make the laws protecting children known in the community where children live, as well as empowering children and communities to defend, protect and uphold their rights are at the core of the organisation’s existence in the fulfillment of the mission and objectives. Joy for Children seeks to empower the community to uphold human rights and child rights in particular at all levels of our community interventions strategies.
